Isolation- a poem
A man was walking down an empty street
Trying to find a place to eat
He searched and searched but failed
So a taxi he hailed
When the taxi came near
The man shivered in fear
For he saw the seat was empty
And the car quite lenghty
He shuffled away unable to speak
When suddenly behind him he heard a creak
He turned to see nothing but air
And continued walking with great despair
He walked on to find a well lit place
But even here there wasn't a single face
Now he didn't know what to do
So he finally bid the place adieu
Now with no emotions he became pale
Then in front of him blew a gale
Hunger taking over his weak body
Until hope again took over and he went to find somebody
He then ran around to all the places there was
When he still found no one he began to cuss
He knew nothing about his current location
But he knew he was in isolation.......
